      It was incredible to be able to play against so many teams that fought hard and tried their best.  Not only did this trek over the summer bring our team more knowledge about the game of soccer, but it also enlightened us on a cultural level.  I was glad I got to participate in such an amazing journey.  Over all the experience was the highlight of my summer, it helped me become a better player, as well as bring our team closer together.

      IMPORTANT DATES
      August 2015 - Applications open.
      October 14 - Application deadline
      November 7-8 - Round-Robin
      November 14 - Champion's Day
      June 14-19,  2016 - Region 3 Presidents Cup, College Station, TX
      July 14-17, 2016 - National Presidents Cup, Tulsa, OK
    • SPRING 2015
      The Presidents Cup will be renamed the Georgia Soccer Division 2 State Championship and the Georgia Soccer Division 3 State Championship. The tournament will be played November 7-8, 2015.
       
      D2 State Championship - Classic 2/Athena B and lower teams are eligible. All Classic and Athena teams other than Classic 1/Athena A may elect to play in the D2 event. The Champions of the D2 event will move on to the Regional Presidents Cup to represent Georgia. 
       
      D3 State Championship - Classic 4/Athena D and lbelow only. Winners will be named D3 State Champion. They will not advance to a Regional event.
       
      Benefits to teams:
      • U15 and older teams will have been playing all fall with no lapse in play over the winter.
      • No conflicts with High School soccer.
      • Teams (except the Division 2 Champion) will be able to play in both the D2/D3 Championship and State Cup.
      • With the addition of a D3 Championship, more Classic 4/Athena D and lower teams will have a competitive State Championship.

    • About the D2/D3 State Championship

      Tournament Eligibility
      The D2 State Championship is open to select teams Classic II/Athena B and lower, ages U13-U19. The D3 State Championship is open to Classic 4/Athena D and lower teams, registered and in good standing with Georgia Soccer.

      Players and Teams
      All teams and players must be registered with Georgia Soccer. A valid Georgia Soccer roster and player cards for each player, along with an official Tournament Roster, are required to participate.
