    FIFA Rules are being used excepted where modified within

    Under Age Players

    • U-09 through U11 – no limitations on age playing up 
    • Roster size – 22 players
    • 7v7 – U09 through U10
    • 8v8 – U11
    • 25 halves – 5 minute half-times – size 4 ball Certified referee (1)
    • Passes and rosters must be present prior to the match.
    • 2014/2015 Rosters & player passes

     Modified rules of play

    • Off-side with instructions to the referee
    • No limitations on the number of games a player may play 
    • Substitution on the fly at mid-field with a marked substitution area 
    • Substitution on a dead ball
    • Players on same side
    • Parents on opposite side of field from players
    • At coach’s discretion, a player may be added to the playing field

    Other

    • If a game is canceled, it may be rescheduled with discretionary input from the administration.
    • If a team withdraws , they are removed from the schedule.
    • Communication between opponents should occur early in the week (recommendation)

    Uniforms

    • Home Team shall wear LIGHT
    • Away Team shall wear DARK

    Recommended Field Size for Small-sided Games

    • U-9/U-10 45-50 w/70-75 L/goal size 6x18
    • U-11 50-60 w/75-85 L/goal size 6x18
  • EPD Rules of Play

    For U-11 a maximum of fourteen (14) eligible players may be listed on a roster at any one time.  The maximum includes unlimited guest players using the club pass . An asterisk (*) must be placed next to the guest players, as well as the league, team, age group, and division that player is carded on the Game Report Card For U-9 and U-10, a maximum of twelve (12) eligible players may be listed on a roster at one time. An asterisk (*) must be placed next to the guest players, as well as the league, team, age group, and division that player is carded on the Game Report Card.   Every team roster shall have a minimum of seven (7) players on the roster at all times.   There will be no limitations on playing up.   A team official is any non-participating person whose name appears on the Official State Roster or in League records.   Club Pass System – Carded players are permitted to guest play on any teams within their club . The main objective of the club pass system is to allow coaches to move players freely within their own club based on specific team needs and in the inter- est of player development.   U-9  and U-10 Player Development   The U-9 and U-10 age group will play 7v7. No seeding, scores, or standings will be published until the U-12 seasonal year.   U-11 Player Development   The U-11 age group will play 8v8. No seeding, scores, or standings will be published.    GAME INFORMATION   General   U-11                Twenty five (25) minute halves Size 4 ball U-10                Twenty five (25) minute halves Size 4 ball U-9                   Twenty five (25) minute halves Size 4 ball   There will be a five (5) minute half-time interval in all games Sidelines Players will be on the same side of the field. Parents will be on the opposite side of the field from the players.   Substitution   Except as noted, substitutions shall be unlimited with the prior consent of the referee at the following times:   a.     Prior to a throw-in when the ball is in possession of the team substituting The opposing team may substitute as well if the team in possession is making a substitution. b.     Goal-kick - Either team; c.     After a goal has been scored and prior to the succeeding kick-off; d.     During the half-time interval; for-one; e.     Injury - If an injured is substituted, the opposing team may substitute one- f.      For a cautioned (Yellow Card) player at the time the caution is issued. g.   On the fly at mid-field , within a marked substitution area h.   On a dead ball   Offsides with instructions to the referee.   At the coach’s discretion , a player may be added to the playing field .   Recommended Field Size for Small-sided Games   U-9/U-10 45-50 w/70-75 L/goal size 6x18  U-11               50-60 w/75-85 L/goal size 6x18 Uniforms Home teams wear LIGHT Away teams wear DARK     Recommendation for Fouls and Misconduct   In the U-09 and U-10 age groups, no caution or send off shall be issued to players. If a child is being too rambunctious, then the game official will ask the coach to make a substitution of that player to give the child a chance to calm down before returning to play. *All other rules for game day will be as currently written in the WAGS rules , except for where they have been amended within this document.
