Jenni Rosenberg

Jenni Rosenberg, in her 11th season as Southern Oregon University’s head women’s soccer coach in 2023, has delivered the program's signature accomplishments since returning to her hometown.

After taking over midway through the 2013 season, Rosenberg shed the "interim" portion of her title on Jan. 6, 2014. In 2016, she led the Raiders to a school-record win total of 13 and their first-ever Cascade Collegiate Conference title with a mark of 9-2, collecting CCC and NAIA West Regional Coach of the Year awards. In 2019, she guided the Raiders into the NAIA Top 25 poll for the first time and later that season brought them to their first NAIA National Tournament as the team scored a historic Opening Round win over Campbellsville (Ky.).

The Raiders finished top-two in the standings two seasons in a row for the first time in 2021 and '22, bringing Rosenberg's overall record to 91-61-20. She's gotten the Raiders into the CCC tournament all nine of her full seasons (excluding the spring 2021 campaign abbreviated by COVID-19) and out of the first round seven times.

Rosenberg is the third head coach in the history of the program. Before arriving at SOU, she was in her fifth season as an assistant at her alma mater, Cal State Stanislaus.

Her teams have been at their best in conference play, where they’ve posted a combined record of 69-30-9. At one point during the 2016 run, SOU shut out seven consecutive opponents and went 945 consecutive game minutes against NAIA competition without allowing a goal. In 2019, the Raiders had an eight-game unbeaten streak in which they held opponents scoreless for 818 consecutive minutes. They matched a team record with 10 conference wins in 2021, and in '22 brought a school-record 12-game unbeaten streak (which included nine shutouts) into the CCC semifinals.

Academically, Rosenberg's teams are perennial leaders at SOU. They've produced 154 academic all-conference honorees since 2014, achieved NAIA Scholar Team status every season, and posted a combined cumulative GPA of 3.4 or better in nine of 10 seasons.

At Stanislaus, Rosenberg's duties included supervising academic progress, fundraising and recruiting. She was responsible for bringing in several of the players who starred on Stanislaus' team that went 18-1-2 this season.

Rosenberg graduated from Ashland High in 1999. She played on SOU's inaugural women's soccer team in 2000 and finished her career at Stanislaus, where she earned a bachelor's degree in physical education.

Her first game in charge of the Raiders was on Oct. 3 against Northwest Christian and resulted in a scoreless draw. She earned her first win two days later, 5-3 over Corban.

Rosenberg's parents, Gail and Larry, are also residents of Ashland.

I found it easy to use. It included all of the information that a college coach/recruiter would look for. I highly recommend it to all college bound athletes!
