Danesha Adams

Danesha Adams has served as the co-head coach along with J.J. Wozniak for the Pacific program for three seasons following a season as an assistant coach on the Tiger staff.

The duo was named interim co-head coaches on July 28, 2021 and guided the Tigers to their best record in 12 years at 10-6-3. The team got off to a hot start, recording an 8-1-1 non-conference record, including winning the last six non-league games. The squad recorded nine shutouts on the season and junior Brenna Crump was named WCC Goalkeeper of the Year. Pacific finished 2-5-2 in the tough WCC in that season. Adams and Wozniak so impressed the conference coaches that they were named WCC Coaches of the Year following the season.

Adams and Wozniak were named to the full-time post as co-head coaches on November 9, 2021. In the 2022 campaign, the Tigers had an even more impressive non-conference campaign, finishing with a 5-0-6 mark, including a 2-0 win over Santa Clara in a non-league match at Knoles Field. Over the first two seasons, the Tigers had a non-conference record of 13-1-7 and a streak of 17 matches without a loss. Pacific finished with two WCC wins and four ties for 10 points, an improvement from the eight points earned the previous year.

Adams joined the Pacific staff as an assistant coach in March 2020 and helped guide the team for the 2020 season, which was played in the spring of 2021.

Adams was an assistant at Houston for the 2017 and 2018 seasons, sparking major improvements on the offensive side of the ball with 29 goals scored in both the 2017 and 2018 seasons. Following the 2017 season, two forwards earned All-AAC honors. As a recruiting coordinator, Adams created strong relationships both domestically and internationally. Adams went to Houston after coaching the 2016 season at Villanova, where under her tutelage, three student-athletes were named to the Big East All-Freshman Team.

Adams enjoyed a stellar collegiate career, leading UCLA to four NCAA College Cups. She was a three-time Pac-10 Conference First Team selection, two-time Hermann Trophy semifinalist and was a finalist for the Pac-10 Player of the Year. Adams also represented the US with the U-20 and U-23 Women's National Teams while in college, earning her first cap with the Women's National Team in 2006.

Following a successful collegiate career at UCLA, Adams was selected as the sixth pick in the 2008 Women's Professional Soccer Supplemental Draft and played professionally from 2009-2010 with the Chicago Red Stars before joining the Philadelphia Independence from 2010-2012. Internationally, she played in Sweden and Turkey before joining Sky Blue FC of the NWSL from 2013-14.

In 2014-15, Adams joined the NWSL's Washington Spirit and spent time on loan with Apollon Ladies in Cyprus. Following a season with Medkila IL Harstad in Norway in 2015, Adams retired from professional soccer and transitioned into the coaching profession.

Adams earned a bachelors in sociology from UCLA.

J.J. Wozniak

J.J. Wozniak has served as the co-head coach along with Danesha Adams for the Pacific program for three seasons following a season as an assistant coach on the Tiger staff.

Wozniak joined the Pacific staff as an assistant coach in March 2020 and helped guide the team for the 2020 season, which was played in the spring of 2021.

Wozniak helped lead the Rebels to four consecutive double digit-win seasons, including one of the program's best years in 2016 when they finished 16-4-3. That year UNLV was teh Mountain West Conference Regular Season & Tournament Champions. They also played in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, that year. While at UNLV, 15 players were selected to the Mountain West All Conference teams. In 2016, the Mountain West Conference Offensive & Defensive Players of the year both came from UNLV. In addition, while J.J. was at UNLV, he was a part of the coaching staff that had the first two UNLV players ever selected as All Americans.

Wozniak has been involved in coaching soccer on either the collegiate or club level since 2000, starting out as an assistant coach and goalkeeper coach for the Fresno State men's squad. He was the top assistant at Belmont on the men's side from 2011 to February of 2014, handling numerous duties that included organizing and conducting practices, game day preparations, film analysis, travel and recruiting. Wozniak was also in charge of all summer and winter camps.

Most recently, Wozniak held the title of Director of Coaching for California Odyssey Soccer Club since March of 2014, while also serving as head coach of the U-12 Girls and U-17 Girls sides in 2014-15 and 2015-16. He first started with the program as an Assistant Director of Coaching and Director of Soccer Operations in March of 2002 before being promoted to Director of Coaching in April of 2007. Wozniak's teams saw much success, as California Odyssey was one of the original 63 clubs invited into the US Soccer National Development Academy. The program won five national championships under Wozniak's guidance while having back-to-back Development Academy National Finalists in 2009 and 2010.

Wozniak began his playing career at Saint Louis from 1992-95 before playing two more seasons at Fresno State in 1995 and 1996. He was a two-time all-region selection and earned Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Player of the Year honors in 1995. Professionally, Wozniak spent time with Major League Soccer's Los Angeles Galaxy in the fall of 1997 before transitioning to the San Jose Clash (now Earthquakes) in 1999. He spent time in the USL and USISL leagues as well, earning USISL Division 3 Goalkeeper of the Year honors in 1997 and picking up USL Division 3 Goalkeeper of the Year honors in 2001.

Wozniak holds a Bachelors in sociology from Fresno State University.

Rhianna Krutz

Rhianna Krutz, who has previously worked on the soccer staff for three Division I programs, was named to the Pacific women’s soccer staff by co-head coaches Danesha Adams and J.J. Wozniak.

Most recently, Krutz coached four seasons at her alma mater on the Illinois State staff, competing in the Missouri Valley. She joined the Redbirds in 2019, helping guide the program to a 14-6 record that year. She focused on the forward line and team defense for Illinois State and played a key role in recruiting.

Prior to Illinois State, Krutz spent the 2018 season at Valparaiso, another Missouri Valley team. She started her coaching career on the staff at Dayton, serving as the director of operations for the 2017 season. The Flyers had a 9-9-2 record in the Atlantic 10 Conference that season.

Krutz was a five-year member of the Illinois State program (2012-16), helping the Redbirds win four MVC regular-season titles and four conference tournament championships. Three times the Illinois State advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Krutz served as a team captain in 2015 and 2016.

A Des Plaines, Ill. native, she graduated from Illinois State in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in therapeutic recreation.
